- Medical conditions of the same kind or class as or comparable to those enumerated above (i-x)
- A terminal condition diagnosed by a physician other than the qualified physician issuing the physician certification
- Chronic nonmalignant pain – associated with a qualifying medical condition
Based on this definition, a patient with chronic nonmalignant pain that is not caused by or that does not originate from a qualifying medical condition would not qualify to receive medical marijuana.
